So sorry to hear about your budgie!!!
I also have 2 budgies and 4 lovies...2 ring-eye and 2 peachfaced.
The peachies are the bullies....my bluemasked adores them and tries to play with them but they'll have none of it....my fischer minds her own business. The budgies do seem to know to keep one step ahead of the lovies but recently one has become more curious. I did have a budgie with what looked like a lovie nip on his foot a few months back so, no matter what, there are no guarantees...
They share the same room and space but really do keep to themselves....
