Hi
Just an intro on myself and a question..I own 8 budgies and 1 cockatiel, they live in the aviary outside (but are relatively tame, they eat from my hands and perch on me happily). I'm thinking of getting some kind of parrot that is handtamed and I can keep inside. I'll be able to interact with it a lot during the day, and it can be out of the cage a lot. I'm wondering what kind of parrot I should get. I want one that:
Not a bity aggressive kind of bird
Loves to be preened and cuddle etc, but is okay with being left in the cage (with toys etc) or not constantly interacted with..so one that can amuse itself
Playful
Not very expensive
It doesn't matter if it doesn't talk, that is not even on the list. Mainly I want an affectionate, non biting, non aggressive bird who loves to be stroked etc..Noise isn't really a problem.
I really don't know what kind of bird I should get..I don't really like conures but that's about it.
