As for the noises, from what you describe, they are perfectly normal. My lovies make cute little squeaks and peeps in the night as well...sometimes, they give all out chirps if they hear me moving ( they are in my master bedroom).
Just sounds as if you have a happy little bird.
I always bombard my vet with questions! I ask EVERYTHING, i think its better to ask too many than not enough. But luckily i have only taken each bird once, for their check up and not for any ailments touch wood

Yes, Antari does this mostly when he has mid-day naps, but i had a lie in this morning and he was doing it then. At least i know its fine and nothing to worry about! My cockatiels are the only basis i have of how birds 'act' so this is all learning for me! And has made me truely appreciate how different each species are!

Luna does this to me in the mornings, as soon as she hears me stir she screams and screams and screams and screams and screams and screams and screams and screams and screams and screams and screams till i get up out of bed and go see her! But bless her, i love her loads, shes my baby, and she clearly loves her mummy very very much!
