Quakers are generally a one-on-one bird, they are really good talkers and are quite cuddly.
Another thing to consider is noise.. they're VERY noisy, and I mean very. Keiko's screams are ear pericing, but we're used to it now, lol. So if you live in a unit/apartment it's probably not a good idea.
GCC's I can't say.. I'm getting my first one soon, but from what I've read and heard about them, they're very playful, fun, cuddly, full of energy and some will talk, but apparently not as good as Quakers.
Both are really cute, funny and cuddly. But if you want a talker, you're best off going with a Quaker.
