This is exactly what Antari does, it is really adorable, and im soo glad its normal! I think im such a 'bird hypocondriac' and ANYTHING that my birds do that im not sure about i panic about and think it must be bad! Im just glad i have this forum to come on and ask stupid questions and have my mind put at ease!
On another upside, the vet visit went well this morning, im told Antari took a nice bite into the vet and made her bleed! (I couldnt attend due to the possiblility of have swine flu, but i told my boyfriend allll the things he needed to ask about)
She said his lungs sound clear, eyes are bright, nose is clear, beak, wings, feet and legs are fine, only thing is he is a little thin, but i knew that anyway as i could feel it myself, however he has put on a lot of weight in the last 2 weeks so the vet wasnt worried about it as long as he keeps putting the weight on, but im to take him back if he loses any weight. But all in all he is very healthy, and his poop looks fine too. Not sure if she said anything else about him! But i think it was all good.
He's back home and little grumpy, as soon as he was back he flew over to me and tucked himself under my chin, bless him!
