Any update on this? I haven't been on this forum in a while and now I'm sorry I missed this thread!!

Well, unfortunately lovebirds don't really "throw up," as I've learned from my Avian vet... but if you're aware of what your bird looks like when normally regurgitating as a sign of love or bonding, you'd definitely know if your bird is regurgitating in that way or out of illness.

If it's an illness, it could be any number of things. For example, E. coli from possibly pooping in it's food and then eating that poop. If you're unsure of whether it's "bonding" regurgitation or illness regurgitation, I'd definitely see an Avian vet...
