It may be that I'm the ignorant one here, but I find that hilarious! Since when could a hybrid not reproduce?!?!? No disrespect to hydrids (I love them!) but they are a "mixed breed" and when you have a mixed breed dog, for example, they multiply just the same as a purebreed does...
Your vet needs to go back to school... he obviously missed a few classes!
