So as many of you know I recently won a Jenday conure in a raffle (yes they actually raffled off a live bird). The first couple days he was an absolute sweetheart, anyone could pick him up.

The last two days he has started biting, full on blood drawing bites. This is my first Jenday, we have actually never had any come into the rescue.

He runs at you from the inside of the cage and if he gets you he latches on like a rabid wolf that hasn't eaten in 2 days. Even out of the cage he will bite, but not quite as much.

Could this be his personality showing. It makes me wonder if that is why he was donated for the raffle.

I hate that I can offer advise to other people, but when it is my bird I am dumb founded and doubting myself.
