I just joined the forum. I currently have 4 birds. I have 2 cockatiels (levi and calvin), 1 parakeet( millie) and 1 senegal parrot (joey).
I am currently looking to find new homes for levi the cockatiel and joey the senegal parrot. I just don't have the time to give them a lot of attention, which i feel bad about. Now i'm sure your wondering why i'm only trying to find new home for only 2 of my birds. Calvin the other cockatiel is is 22 years old and i think he's too old to be rehomed and I am quite attached to him since he was my first bird. Millie the parakeet I am attached to as well.
Levi the cockatiel is 6 or 7 years old. I oringally adopted him. When I got him, he was a little over a year old. when I got him he wasn't very friendly and was skidish. I haven't really gotten very far with him as far has handling goes. He does sing a lot, which is another reason why i'd like to rehome him. He should be with someone who would appreicate his singing. He's still not very friendly and is still skidish so he needs someone who has the time and patients to really work with him. He needs a lot of work to get him more handable.
Joey the senegal is about 8 years old. He was 3 years old when i got him. He is friendly when out of the cage. He likes to be handled, loves to have his head scratched. He does talk but his vocabulary is limited but i am sure he can learn more with work. He loves carrots. Joey is curious to see what you are eating. If you are sitting next to his cage eating something he'll go over to the side of the cage where you're at, look at you like give me some. I think he would do better in a home where someone has the time to spend with him.
I live in Pennsylvania. They are free to a good home only. They must go to someone who has experience with birds and has the time to spend with them and to work with them. Cages and toys are included. I would prefer to rehome them to someone with experience with birds. If you are interested please reply back or send me a pm.
