That sounds awful and i hope that you do find him but if you dont if you think about it at least he has a chance of fitting in with a flock, if he were a cockateil or brightly coloured bird not native in your area it would be worse because he would be prone to predator birds such as crows and magpies. i hope that you do find him and try to leave a cage with food and water open in your backyard to see if he goes inside
