Wink chille and the amazing adventure

Today chille and I sat here watching the time pass us while we hung out.
I was told something’s from the lady I got her from but you never really know?
You always sit and wonder where have your birds been how old are they?
if they band doesn’t say a year? Well that all changed today,

I was talking to a friend of mine and told her the band number and that it was unlike any band that id ever seen. AFA, with a stamp in it.

So i looked up the organization and called them and the lady was just about no help. she told me i would have to request a band database registry and it could take sometime to locate the breeder and the breeder would have to contact me. "They never sent me the registry" so I looked on the site and found a pet store that was located in the same state as the original breeder.
I called this pet store and found a lady who was very nice, I told her that I was curious if she knew anyone in the state with the same initials and she thought possibly yes? Wasn’t sure on the last name (spelling).
With my mad skills in detective work I looked her up and FOUND HER!
I talked to her on the phone gave her my info and later she e-mailed me.
She was born 12-21-97 she is pure bred Red sided and she was 1 of 2 that hatched. She was always 20 grams bigger and both were hens.
The lady was a bit unsure to how I got her but never the less I do have her.
I am her 4th and final home. She has been through a lot. Plucking issues she lost 2 toe nails which are coming back in a rope toy last year.

A big huge thank you to Nancy "OUTLAW" she made my baby a vest.
It really does help when you have fellow bird lovers around you and you see they really do care. Sorry if people are getting annoyed with me.
I wish people would post more. I can never read too much :)
Thanks everyone!!
