Hi everyone,
The other day I told you Humph wouldn't stop yelling. Same thing this morning, for about an hour. Just now, he flew over, landed on my husband's lap, and spent ages nuzzling his head and 'shoulders' into the crook of my husband's arm, and the space between my husband's arm and body. He also rubbed his head against my husband's thumb, so my husband rubbed Humph's head too. As soon as Humph figured out my husband was touching him, he objected. It's as if he wanted his head and neck rubbed, but also didn't, at the same time. Or he wanted his head and neck rubbed but he wanted to be in charge. Regardless, this is a breakthrough. Humphrey likes to land on us and climb all over us, but we can't touch him with our hands. He was rubbing the sides of his body, and especially his head., all over my husband's hands and arms. It was amazing - my husband said that Humphrey felt and seemed 'snuggly".

I wonder if the screaming and this are connected? Perhaps Humph (who is female, actually) is hormonal? Anyway, it was absolutely lovely. My husband loved it - he's recovering from an operation and enjoyed Humph snuggling on him.
