Those are some great shots! Most adults don't want to rehome birds (especially ones in rescue places) with teens because many don't have jobs, most are still in adolescence, they may not know how to properly care for the bird, etc! They also worry about how uncertain a teen can be, because there is college, work which may involve moving away from home, etc. Most teens just are not responsible enough to take on the job of owning a bird! Well, I know how much of that is as I'm 18 now and currently caring for 12 birds! It's great though to have you here and I hope you enjoy it too! Welcome!
