I love that betta!
I have an ancient old Canon FTB QL (in fact, I actually have 2) that takes the BEST photos--great lenses, and Dog knows what else combine to make photo quality fantastic. I work them in manual mode, although I suspect there's an auto mode on them, too, judging by the little red "A" on the lenses--but I got them both used, and they didn't come with manuals, so I had to learn by trial and error how they work, and I've always preferred working in manual mode. I can be more creative and have more control over my photography that way. I love my film 35 mm SLR cameras! In fact, besides my '64 1/2 Mustang, I'd have to say that they're my prize possessions. But it would also be nice to have a small-ish, nice quality digital camera for photographing things and getting that instant gratification that comes with digital :-). Not having to develop film, and having the option to delete unsatisfactory photographs in advance is real nice. Besides, the spouse seems to get tired of lugging around 30 lbs. of my photography equipment, sometimes....
