Thank you for your responses to my complex, and bossy little budgie. He does seem to think he rules the house. He is better behaved with my husband but I am the one who feeds him and cleans his cage and initially hand tamed him. I hope he will settle down but it is good to know you can gradually clip the wings and he will still be able to fly. I have had it done only at the vet so far and it has been extreme. He was not bossy at all when clipped but he did not have the grace he has now and would fly into things and get stuck in places. I am really hoping he will be able to stay a flying bird.
