
hehe, yeah I can see what you mean about litle dogs and little birds! When I had the 'tiel it took forever to socialize him and get him to stop biting the crap out of my hand, he was one of those petco birds you get for 20 bucks but they are completely terrified of people
Macaws are so beautiful, possibly in the future when I retire

I may own one. I wouldn't mind owning a pionus and a macaw. But right now I am living in a single room with no where near the correct amount of space for a bird as large as a macaw. The cage wouldnt be much of a problem but keeping the bird entertained would be! I don't know if they are the birds for me I would have to do alot of research before even considering one. I used to think an eclectus was the bird for me but after much consideration and reading I decided not.
So far the pionus sounds like the best fitting fid for me. And bronze wings are incredibly beautiful when they reach full maturity. They would be good to have even if I had a macaw in the future.
