Your profile photo of your cockatiels is lovely but I would hesitate before saying they're female. which is my first guess - although the larger one to the right may be a male.
Guess you'll have to post a lot of photos into this thread .

I was recently reading about molting & if you want really nice feathers & an easier time of it for your tiels - reduce the seed & add more vitamin A rich foods, like carrot, yams, tomatoes & sweet corn. The article said chop it fairly fine so they'll eat it easily & quickly - vitamin loss & spoiling are less.

& Vitamin suppliments will help
& Willow buds [spring ones] offer minerals & natural aspirin.
& Aloe in their drinking water & in their spray bath is a good idea -

If you enrich their diet you will only see feathers on the cage floor & your birds won't look rough at all - so they say & actually Alice & Mo have never looked too scruffy, but they do look better on their improved diet.
