Crest feathers... It is hard to tell as they seem young, but you might be right... no definite way to tell until they start to mature unless you get them DNA sexed... of course, you could go by vocalizations... males tend to sing and are normally chattier than females, where-as females tend to be more reserve (but it can vary from bird to bird!)
