Savannah sounds very typical for a GW, especially a GW female. They really are special. I'm blessed with a BG hen that has the same kind of personality as the GWs I've met.
Truly, I do believe that the larger the bird the less likely they are to really bite. Its like little dogs and big dogs. I think they are more confident and don't need to bite as a rule. I figure with little guys, they may only HAVE one chance so that have to make it count.
