Although we do our best to verify information, we cannot vouch for the veracity of people posting information through this email list. We are trying to provide a service to people who may be distraught over the loss of their beloved pet and potentially reunite owners with their pets.

There was an ad in our local newspaper regarding an African grey that escaped from its home. The phone # is 347-463-0682. They also provided the band # 227 for identification purposes. I'm sure that a grey in good condition could fly from Staten Island to Queens if so inclined. Please pass this on

LOST COCKATIEL
My son's cockatiel Glidey escaped out the back door today and we can't find her. We live in Mount Vernon , New York and would like to find an website in Westchester to post that she is missing. She is a one year old female grey/white mutated cockatiel. Very friendly. She'll go to anyones shoulder or head and would love to be pet. We thought we saw her fly to a couple of trees but by nightfall we still could not find her. Please advise,

Sorry I forgot to say if anyone sees Glidey please call us at 914-699-4776 or 917-968-6220.We live in Mount Vernon (chester Heights) Glidey was last seen on Alta Drive. The nearest cross street is New Rochelle Road. She gets startled easily. Likes pasta and cheese. She flew off around 5:30 in the afternoon. This is the first time she has flown off.

LOST LESSER SULFUR CRESTED COCKATOO
“Cody” a lesser sulfer crested cockatoo was lost on Sunday-June 25th, 2006 in Bellmore, NY. She flew out of an apartment door. She is white with yellow cheeks. She is about 1 years old.

Rodan flew out the back door on June 11,2006



We live in Hicksville NY. Rodan is about ten or eleven inches tall he is mostly green with an orange face and black beak and some black on top of his head he also yellow-orange on most of his chest.

LOST - OUT OF NY STATE

LOST GOLDEN CROWNED AMAZON (CONN)
Prince is a bright green Golden Crowned Amazon. He is approximately 2 1/2 yrs old (We think he is a he). Prince is tagged w/the number 6054.

Prince took off from Tomlinson Avenue (between Neil and Rheinlander Avenues) in the Bronx. He has been spotted on Eastchester Road and Pelham Parkway South in the Bronx. Prince has been missing since June 23rd.

Friendly knows name romeo up-up likes singing and clapping hands, will respond, does not talk, but call, click like to a kitty, and he will answer, quiet voice, grey head, green body, orange, chest and under wings, will see the orange if in flight Lost from monmouth county, new jersey, sighting was 4 weeks ago.
