Ollie has the flightsuit (although I never managed to get it on her) with the lanyard leash.

From what I've heard, and based off of my inspection of the flightsuit, it should be perfectly safe to use on a clipped bird. Many people I know use them on their fully flighted birds and have no issues. The key is to make sure they are on correctly and securely.
