Mora gets Harrison's, mac nuts and banana chips ground up, in a Bullet, mixed with organic veggies or fruit. I put it in her bowl, Lori spoon feeds her.

We were just at the Way Out West bird expo this past Sunday and talked to a vet that said if we weren't feeding pellets at least 85% of the diet, that our bird was not getting enough nutrition. She wasn't pushing any particular brand just the natural colored ones. They had Harrison's, Zupreem and Roudybush. She also said the only veggies/fruit we should be feeding are dark green leafy and orange flesh, and nuts are a treat. Anything else was not really good for them. I just nodded and walked away. Our birds eat good, get a variety of healthy foods and nuts.

And on a side note; Lori blasted a breeder with a display of caged birds for having too many birds in one cage. The look on their faces when she finally walked away was priceless. Almost as funny as when she turned around and thought about going back.
