She's probably fine. Often, in the dry winter and fall months when we are heating our homes, they can get nasal irritation. You did exactly what your were supposed to do. A little shower steam seems to have opened her right up.

Please consider getting a humidifyer or vaporizer for her cage area. Ideally, we should try to keep their environments in the 45 to 50% humidity range. Be sure to clean filters often so that mold won't grow. With vaporizers, they usually have no filter. I actually prefer using them, but the have to be refilled often.

And, finally, occasionally, my large macaws decide to do "baths" in their water bowls. Since they are WAY too big to actually fit in the bowls, sometimes they will just wet their head.
