I've only got the WBC on video. The BHC is a little more reserved and cautious. I've been giving her extra space to adjust to her new environment. She is improving and seems to be getting increasingly more comfortable. But definitely, between the 2, the WBC is the more playful. The WBC, however, is only 4 months old whereas the BHC is 13 months old. So maybe the WBC is extra sweet (she is such a cuddlebug) and playful due to her age. I don't know -- time will tell.
As for names, I received a PM today suggesting I name them Binky #1 and Binky #2. I bet I don't have to tell you who the sender of that PM is, do I?
While those suggested names are attractive, I have settled on calling the BHC "Cricket" but have not yet settled on a name for the baby WBC. I am leaning towards Pogo (due to that whole caique hopping thing they do), Gidget, Squeaky, and Tippy. I also like the name Squash (like the game) that was suggested by Dyelardi.
As you both know, I've only ever had the large size parrots -- had never previously been drawn to the littler guys. But I have to say, I am absolutely enthralled by these 2 little ones. So much character and what energy!! And the BHC makes the most charming beeps and chortles. I think they will do well to keep me company when I am working from home (which has increased a great deal now).
