Hi From SW Oklahoma
A friend pointed me in this direction so I thought I would join your board. I've pretty much had a birdy explosion at my house since last June. I brought Kooky, my sun conure, home the first part of June. Then in August I rescued a 23+ year old White Front Amazon, Bert. For years I've wanted an African Grey so last September I realized my dream and added Cinder, a TAG, to my growing flock. Along with Cinder we also brought home Aspen a jenday conure. Well all was quiet for a couple of months but in November a friend had to rehome her sun and nanday conures so we thought what better home could they have then with us so we went from 4 to 6 Now you'd think I would stop there but NO of course not, last weekend I added two more precious babies to my flock. We now have 9 week old Cinnamon Green Cheek conures. Both are females and are practically identical. I'm not even going to say I'm done because knowing me I'm not I truly love all of my babies and the more I can find out about keeping them healthy and happy the better I feel about having them in my life.
