We're Liz (and Glenn), two budding bird enthusiasts
We have two peach faced love birds RJ and CC (an engagement present from my sister), and an Indian Ringneck, Raul/Rauletta (who we rescued from a pet store - it had spent over three months there and looked totally miserable).
They are all about a year old, so we don't know Raul's sex yet.
We currently also have a Canary which we adopted from an acquaitance who was neglecting it terribly
Why do people take on birds when they are not interested in even cleaning their cage? We have tentatively named it Butch (cause it is so tiny). We feel that four birds is way to many for us - the parrots require (and get) A LOT of attention - so we are working on adopting out Butch
Although being new to owning birds we love them - they are unique pets!
