Hi Matt...
I didn't find anyone that I would trust from places I visited in Michigan. I live just over the border in N. Indiana and I traveled around almost to Ann Arbor looking at places I saw online. I'm not saying there aren't any, but I didn't find one I would use.
However, I did find a FABULOUS couple in N. Carolina--Mike and Sheila Richard from Royal Bird Company. They have several different types of Amazons, including DYH and Yellow Napes. Here's the website:

I purchased my Yellow Nape, Gabbi, from them in September and they shipped her to me via Delta. She is gorgeous! She is perfectly feathered and started warbling as we took her home from the airport. Even the baggage handlers said she was cooing and chirping to them as they unloaded her so apparently travel didn't faze her either. Now she is ten months old and already has an extensive vocabulary. She loves learning songs so she can sing to my other two parrots...and the neighborhood. LOL.
If you aren't lucky enough to find one close to home, please give Mike and Sheila a call. They will answer every question you have...even after you bring your bird home.

I know their breeding season has already started for some of their birds, but I don't think Amazons quite yet. Gabbi was born in April...
I wish you the best luck finding a gorgeous new baby.
