Butch has been adopted by our vet's nurse. The nurse has a male canary that needed a friend and given that the vet is an avian specialist I know she has gone to a good home
As for Australia, it is an awesome place to be if you are interested in seeing wild cockatoos and parrots.

We see heaps of gallahs, sulfur crested cockatoos and corellas around basically every day as well as lorikeets and rosellas.
