i would agree with the turkey buzzard also. they are a protected speices. i know that because i worked at a camp back in mi(several yrs ago) and we were one of the nesting areas for them. they will puck in a fear response,so be very quite going by/under them. you will have to burn your clothes and find some strong soap to get rid of the smell. we took the kids for a walk in the nesting area and taught them to be very quite in the woods as not to scare the wild life. they actually have their nest on the ground in hollowed out trees or trees that have fallen down.
