It appears that there are several issues being looked at with regard to both wet and dry food-the FDA, the vets and the pet food companies don't know what the problem (s) really are and are jumping on whatever they can to deflect blame from their product. I don't trust any of them and certainly not any PR that they put out on their website. I'm back from visiting my children and my dog is off Solid Gold and back on Mom's cooking. My cats are still on solid gold kibble and I'm still trying out different food combos for them. Everyone has to make their own decisions on what to do with their pets. Solid Gold and Natural Balance are two I am confident are not part of this fiasco but until they resolve it to MY satisfaction, better safe than sorry!
