Hi Barbara and welcome to the group! What a lovely story about Peter. I grew up with a budgie called Benny who was also a great talker and character and lived to the ripe old age of 16. The day he passed was the first time I ever saw my dad cry.
What lucky people we are to have known such birds. <hugs>
