My name is Katia and I'm from Monroeville, PA- in SW PA.
In the past I've had 'keets/cockateils and now I was thinking about an African Grey/Cockatoo (Moluccan). I've done a lot of HW on these birds, but of course I don't know everything! So if anyone had any first/second hand knowledge on these birds, please let me know. Thanks!
Specifically, I was wondering
about how much they let you handle themselves, how sweet they are to you, and at what ages I should adopt them at (I'm looking to adopt, by the way!) so they would easily bond in their forever home.
While I was doing my HW on the birds and reading other's posts about their companions, I realized that the bird changes from day to night when their maturity comes around. About what age does this happen and will they get over it after some time or shall they remain hostile for a long time?
