Hi all!
My name is Kathey. I have an African Grey and a B&G Macaw. Foxy the Grey is 3 and Harley the Macaw is 1. We live in Sarasota, Florida. I have owned 2 greys and both have been 'touch-me-not' types. They were cuddly at first and Fox still allows me to scratch her head or massage her feet occasionally. But a snuggler she is not! It really doesn't matter to me because she is so beautiful and tells me that she loves me and asks for kisses and then says 'whew, what a sweet kiss'. In the morning before the cover comes off of her cage I hear the sweetest voice say a very musical "good morning". My birds are the loves of my life. Good luck finding the right grey for you.
