My Gouldian Finch babies are now 14 days olds. Their eyes are open & they have alot of feathers coming in. Their so cute. The parents usually only go in the nest box now to feed them & thats it. They huddle together to stay warm. I peeked in on them tonight & they all looked at me like (who the heck are you) then they all opened their mouths & started begging me for food.
I guess they didn't care who I was, they just wanted food. I couldn't help myself, I had to pick one up & get photos. He / she fell asleep in my hand. It was so sweet. Then when I tried to put him back, he didn't wanna go. He kept climbing my hand trying to stay on there.
I also candled another pairs eggs today, 3 outta 5 are fertile.
