Heres our first Cockatiel Silvester. He's a male Latino Cockatiel... I think that you mean lutino ;)

Lovely birds all around but I am concerned about the RF canary. A bird can lose feathers (as that is what it looks like to me on first glance) for any number of reasons. I think that he should be seperated from the flock (quarantine) and go to the vet promptly.

In regards to hand-feeding? I think it would be best to find a reputable breeder to mentor (try searching Cockatiel Cottage, Cockatiels, cockatiel information, cockatiels basic care, diet, nutrition, pellet diets, health, illness, behavior, taming, behavior problems, biting, sickness, breeding, handfeeding, egg binding, broken blood feathers, blood feath) you OR speak to an avian vet (AAV) for advice. While the videos on-line can be helpful, hand-feeding is a bit of science and a bit of an art.
