Well, I can see that I am one of the few Europeans here
My name is Lars, and I live in Copenghagen, Denmark with my fiancee and our 3 lovely parrots.
We have 2 Fisher's Lovebirds and one blue-headed pionus. Our two lovebirds are not tame at all, but our Pionus is. He is 3½ years old and we have had him since he was 3 months old.
We have seen some problems with him (we think he he is a he
), as my fiancee lost her mother last year. This changed her personality a bit, and Lukas (our pionus) reacted quite hard on that. He attacked her when he saw fit, and were not at all happy about her. This has changed a bit now, and he allows her to pet him - sometimes that is! It has helped a bit to do some training with him - making them have some common good experiences. Also, she finished her education a few months ago, and are now working, being happy about her job.
