Your cockatoo will have to go through quarantine most likely to make sure that he isn't sick and all that... It usually lasts around 30 days as well... Though if your cockatoo was born in the USA, and you had proof, it might make things easier to bring him in... Well, anyway, hopefully someone else replies soon so that you know the rules/regulations n such for bringing a bird into the US...
