Congrats on your new p'let!
I don't have any great advice, but just for some reassurance I am in pretty much the exact same boat as you are! :) We just got our parrotlet 2 weeks ago and he doesn't seem too sure what he thinks of us yet and he still hasn't taken any fresh foods, he will only eat seed and pellets and millet right now. I practically put an amusement park in his cage and still he only sits on one of two perches and ocasionally checks out a bell in there, but that's about it. He is just over 3 months old.
So just hang in there, I know how hard it can be to wait when you just wish they could be all warmed up and playful already :) Everyone on birdboard is great though and they always have a great advice to help out. Keep us updated, I'd love to know how your little one is doing as time goes on. Hopefully both our birds get used to things soon :)
