i wouldnt breed her until she is at least a year and a half, prefferably 2. 4 mo is wayyy too young to breed a princess, she just weaned! for the safety of your hen, please dont let them breed until shes older! the younger you try to breed her, the bigger the chance of her getting egg bound!! having babies sooner would be great, but NOT at the expense of your hen's health!! you need to make sure she is finished growing and maturing inside, and mentally as well. 4 mo is far too young, shes still a very young baby. if you have a nestbox up, take it away, dont give them the chance to breed yet. if you arent willing to wait, i suggest buying an older hen and repairing the new, older hen with your 5yr male, just dont let a baby try to breed!
