lol, im very confident that early socialization is critical to their later-on personalities. it is possible, if you get the baby right after he weans, that you can make him affectionate towards you, and hopefully others if you really work with him, but they just tend to be very shy if you dont get in that extra time when they are young. i see the awkward shyness that the young babies exhibit, and you really have to work through that to get rid of the shyness. even with us, im the one who handfeeds them so they always get to see me, but at that certain young age when they are first getting pins, they are still very shy. they are like that for a few weeks, then all of a sudden, you have babies crawling all over you and running to strangers!! its like they blossom and turn into completely diff birds. they are so affectionate, all of ours. i have 3 month old babies that will try to regurgitate for me, its like their goal in life is just to please you and make you happy with them.
