Hi I am a relatively new conure owner I've owned my GCC Paulie since Christmas of 2006. He was my Christmas present from me to me.
Paulie has fit into my family of 3 children 4 dogs 1 hamster 1 husband very well. Well yesterday I found a Blue Crown Conure his name is Tommy he is 8 yrs old and his first owner an older lady died sometime in the past. Apparently the people that were responsible for Tommy's owner's estate either didn't know how to care for him or didn't want to care for him properly and they locked him up and allowed kids to tease him. Well he ended up at the bird store last Saturday. And yesterday is where I came into his life and also my actions yesterday are the reason for my coming here. Tommy has some very serious aggression issues and there in lies the problem. So I guess I will be bugging everyone with questions about Tommy (BCC) and Paulie (GCC) from time to time. Hope I don't drive you guys crazy.
