HI I live in Kathmandu Nepal and I am a very new member of the board. The forum has helped to ease the pain of loosing a very close and dear baby. I had an Indian Ringneck Parakeet who stole all our hearts away. She died just eleven months after we brought her home (she must have been about 3 months old then) and we have been very very very sad since. It is very difficult to get a good bird here since we do not have any legal bird breeders or aviaries. Although the pain of loosing my beloved bird is still very heart breaking and although it is next to impossible to get another bird to replace my little "Whoopie" who had a personality that made us love her more, I look forward to having another little baby birdie in the future. I do hope that I will get one in the future.
