New noises and behavors

These are probably silly questions, but Oscar my 5 month old gold capped conure has changed his tune so to speak. I have had him for about 2 months now and bbout 2 weeks ago he began sort of chirping and making high pitched little noises a ton more while playing and when he settles down for a nap or to go to sleep. I think these are happy noises since he also clicks his beak a lot, but I just want to make sure.

Another thing is that he has been molting lately and I have been giving him scritches on his head and trying to help him get the covers off of the feathers on his face a lot lately. He pretty much loves this and closes his eyes and fluffs up a lot. Yesterday I was doing this and he began to head bob really fast and then he threw up on me....I know that they sometimes try to feed the person or bird that they have bonded to, but i dont know if he was doing this to feed me or if he is sick. He hasnt done it since, but it kind of tweaked me out.

Anyway, I know theyre probably silly questions, but any advice would be appreciated. I don't think I can ever be too careful when it comes to him. Thanks!
