You know, if your fids are eating all that on a regular basis, you're probably subsidizing their diet very effeciently with vitamins, minerals and protien. With the risk of getting thrashed: you may not have to worry about pellets. Most seed mixtures have a small amount of pellets in them anyway that in your case may actually be enough. Of course, I'm no Avain Vet, so I guess asking them is a good idea rather than listening to my opinion.

I applaud your variety attempts.

More ideas: plain pasta (all birds love pasta it seems), maybe some plain oatmeal (maybe with some of that fruit chopped up in it) from time to time (sounds like you've got a lot of time for food prep considering your diverse menu you offer already), cornmeal, scrambled eggs, oranges, honey dew melon, peppers, grapes, peaches.

Sometimes our fids like cereal - chereos, rice crispies, rice chex, wheet chex, raisen bran (light on this as the raisens are sweetened), wheaties, kix, etc.... Of course plain popcorn (we get these tiny ears of corn from the pet store you microwave for about 45 seconds and they pop right on the cob, the fids love 'em), plain rice puffs, etc. I guess most of that qualifies as treats.

Occationally we offer a small piece of white meat chicken (they got turkey this Thanksgiving and will again this XMas).

You know, just make like 5 times as much you do for all your fids, then Drive to Montana and help me give mine that awesome menu you provide. I promise I won't mind. Neither will my fids! :-)
