We had a cockatiel that used to lay eggs for a few months but she stopped after a while. She wasnt protective of them or anything she would just lay them and leave them. Our ducks on the other hand used to attack you if you went near them (they were both girl ducks..idiots) but they she may eventually stop. if you dont want her to lay eggs dont give her any nesting stuff (that didnt stop our tiel but she got over it).
