The top one is for sure a MALE American Goldfinch (Male has the black wings) and its an adult. The bottom one is a bit more difficult without seeing the back. Could be a siskin or song sparrow with those belly stripes. Note the stripes are darker at the underparts than the top. Immature birds of a species that sport stripes are usually darker from the neck/ breast down and fade out. That is not an immature goldfinch as they dont sport stripes as far as I have seen.
