I didn't find anything either. However, I use a micathermal space heater by Holmes in my birds room without a problem. I too didn't know if it had any teflon parts because I couldn't find any information regarding such. The smell that it gave off during the first use scared the heck out of me, so I plugged it up on the outside on the side of the house for some hours before I brought it back in. I have been using it ever since (about three months now) and have not had, not one problem.
