I think another reason for not buying a bird may be the outcome of breeding. There's a chance that an infertile egg may be layed which probably would upset the breeder after all his/her hard efforts. Still, I love birds and think they're great pets, so I got one much to my dog's irritation(he doesn't like the birds much)Anyways, great advice, gbird!
