Re: Hello to all
Hi Ladyhawke :) You have enough to keep you busy with all those beautiful birds mate!
It makes my day to see people rescuing birds in need. All the birds I look after for a rescue whereby they paid for two huge averies in my very big garden and I helped build them and look after Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and Galahs (Rose Breasteds) Some of our birds have sad stories (hard to believe kids would throw stones at a bird) or car trauma and lots of other things which can happen to a bird.
We have a wonderful Vet. who gives his care free of charge and surely will have a reserved place in heaven me thinks.......
Dave. was saying he knows of places in Australia where wild (rather free flying) Galahs and Sulphurs
congregate re people's homes well let me tell you we have hundreds of both at my place always looking for that bit of seed which I do throw out on occasion but not enough to make them dependent. At the moment the Magpies have babies and they are giving their most beautiful song right outside my window but wait for it er 4 a.m. lol. Sure I have tried explaining i.e. mateys could you just wait until 6 a.m. PLEASE lol but they no underconstumble when they want to but trust me DO underconstumble when they want to lol.
see ya,
Jim
