You could always teach your wife what to do with Feo and be sure to have a grand time with him while you can but if your wife is not up to caring for Feo for a week on her own, it might be better to leave him at the breeders and bring him home later. It may be better in the long run if you leave him for a bit longer just to know that he is fully eating on his own and that there would be less of a chance that he may relapse into wanting to be handfed.
